        "transcript": "<p>I'll bet all your old photographs and negatives are sitting around in boxes like this.</p><p>But with digital photography the clutter is gone.</p><p>But so are your durable negatives and prints.</p><p>Those one-of-a-kind photos you've been stockpiling on your computer could be wiped out in a hard drive crash.</p><p>Backing up your images is the only way to ensure the safety of the future.</p><p>The first thing you want to do is organize your pictures.</p><p>Scroll through and delete the ones that you don't want.</p><p>Then make a new album and for the pictures you do want.</p><p>And drag your images to it.</p><p>Now export the group to a new folder.</p><p>Jpeg or Tiff are good formats.</p><p>Make sure to select maximum quality and full size.</p><p>Good forms of backup media are hard drives or CDs and DVDs.</p><p>The last step is to backup by either copying your picture folder to hard drive...</p><p>Or burning to disk.</p><p>Technology moves fast so don't get left behind.</p><p>Down the road you'll want to revisit your archived images and make sure the formats and media are still in popular use.</p>",
