This photo was taken at my family's condo in Madeira Beach, Florida, on the fishing dock in the Intracoastal Waterway. Each time my girlfriend and I were fishing, different birds would come around hoping to get a free lunch. Unfortunately for us and them, nothing was biting that day. This one stuck around and kept having to preen its feathers because of the strong wind. The wind blew its feathers back to the point that you could see where they attached to its body.
