An endangered Hispaniolan solenodon (Solenodon paradoxus) at Parque Zoologico Nacional in the Dominican Republic. The second lower incisor tooth of this animal is grooved and can be used to deliver a venomous saliva. This is one of the only venomous mammals on Earth.
